sam samsung I read it because it was a free recommended book. What I remember most strongly is the title and the images of faceless people on the cover. So I started reading it right away. It was really easy to read and I felt like I was listening to someone's life story while traveling together. The reason I thought about traveling was because of the author's sense of the title of the article. Especially when I visited the same place, there were times when thoughts that felt the same way overlapped. Every time that happened, I was able to read with more immersion, thinking that he was thinking the same thing as me. Someone's absence is really difficult. The mere fact that it does not exist is difficult enough, rather than what the reason for it came from. In the book, there is an article written by the author about his sister's absence, and among the phrases I saw while reading the letters collected by my sister, who is not currently alive, one by one, I remember the line about not being able to handle the hunger of a dead person. If the person I love isn't in the world, I don't think I can handle the fact that there is something I can do for them while they are still alive. Of course, even if I wasn't there at the time, I still feel like I want to do more. I also remember receiving a letter from a person who was the child of a miner expressing his gratitude, and the story of how the author's father was not a miner. Isn’t this a problem for people whose job is to express themselves in writing? Of course, this is not to tell a lie, but because expressing the story as a family member of the narrator is an element that is more touching to the reader. Regardless of whether it's true or not, it's truly amazing and wonderful to write something that leaves someone's heart. Actually, I don't think I choose to read poetry collections or essays, but I think my thoughts have changed a little because of this book. I became interested in poetry collections not only because they felt distant, but because I felt that the emotions felt through poetry were shared. While reading the text, the poem that struck me the most was the poem at the front called ‘Shadow.’
There were days when I promised myself that I would do everything that other people do. It means that there was a time in a bright era when we had to walk without having to turn our backs on ourselves.
I also had a gap in my life, and I have memories of trying to live a normal life, although I didn't try to do everything that other people did. When I think about it now, it is a memory I am proud of and lived hard for, but I feel like I may have turned my back on a bright time. I also wonder if I was being too hard on myself. Instead of just regretting it, I promise to live a brighter life, play hard, and work hard because it is still not too late to live in bright times.
